1. “I am Iron Man”
Is there a better way to start the list of Tony Stark quotes than this one? No, I don’t think so. The Journey started with this quote.
At the end of the first ‘Iron Man’ where he has to cover up some shit but instead he said “The Truth is…I am Iron Man.” How cool is that can you imagine a Superhero revealing his identity like that.
Unless of course, that person is Deadpool, who is Batman. Pun intended. Jokes apart !!
2. “Is it better to be feared or respected?”
You must have heard a popular quote, many people also have this status “I would rather have people respect me than fear me”.
But those aren’t the ideals Tony lives his life on. From the first Iron Man movie, it was clear that he is a different kind of person. Yes, you can call even him egoistic or whatever. But that’s what fans like about his personality.
3. “I shouldn’t be alive unless it was for a reason.”
This one’s also from the first Iron Man. When Tony truly got some motive for his life and he knew that it was right. Pepper Potts truly loved him and was afraid that he would hurt himself.
As she tells him that “You’re gonna kill yourself, Tony. I’m not going to be a part of it.” To which Tony replies:

4. “Sometimes you gotta run before you can walk.”
Another poetic quote from Tony Stark. When he was trying to fly in his suit for the first time. Then Jarvis advised that there are still TBs of data left to calculate. To which Tony replied, “Sometimes you gotta run before you can walk.”
This means that sometimes the situation demands more than your capabilities and you should be able to give your best. It demands you to perform tasks requiring a higher level of expertise and skill before you learn the basics.

5. “Iron man. That’s kind of catchy. I mean it’s not technically accurate.”
Just before when Tony was going to address the press conference, and reveal his Identity. He read about himself being referred to as Iron Man by the public.
Then he explains Pepper and said:
“That’s kind of catchy. It’s got a nice ring to it. I mean it’s not technically accurate. The suit’s a gold titanium alloy, but it’s kind of provocative, the imagery anyway.“

7. “Following’s not really my style.”
The Avengers movie featured a lot of arguments between our heroes. As they just weren’t ready to work together as a team yet. And one of the Most interesting argument was between Tony and Steve.
When Steve tells Tony that they have been ordered and they should follow them. To which Tony replies:

When Steve said: That you are nothing without your armor. This was Tony’s savage reply: “Genius, Billionaire, Playboy, Philanthropist“.

9. “If we can’t protect the earth, we’ll avenge it!”
This is where we first saw what was the actual purpose of the Team Avengers. Tony explains to Loki that you have managed to piss off every single one of us. Including the incredible hulk. Then he continues:
You’re missing the point. There’s no throne. There is no version of this where you come out on top.

One of my Favourite Quotes, as this is soo true even in real life. Iron Man 3 begins with Tony Stark’s quote “We create our own Demons”. Oscar Wilde, an Irish poet once said: “We are each our own devil, and we make this world our hell.”
Tony Stark was actually crediting Oscar Wilde with this quote. Though this quote can mean something different to every person. But I think it’s stating that we are our own worst enemy.

11. “I build neat stuff, got a great girl, occasionally save the world. So why can’t I sleep?”
This dialogue wasn’t in the movie, it’s from ‘Iron Man 3 Trailer‘. Though it’s absolutely true, especially now that we are so far in this MCU journey. Remember how disturbed Tony Stark was in the ‘Age of Ultron‘.

When Doctor Strange asks him to turn the ship around to Earth. To which Tony replies “We shouldn’t”.

12. “One thing you can’t take away? I am Iron Man”
At the end of ‘Iron Man 3‘, when Tony lost his house and nearly lost his love pepper, and then had surgery for removing the shrapnel. So he didn’t need those arc reactors. But later he explains why he needed that suit what’s the purpose of that:
My armor was never a distraction or a hobby, it was a cocoon, and now I’m a changed man.
“You can take away my house, all my tricks, and toys, but one thing you can’t take away – I am Iron Man.”

This scene perfectly portrayed how much Tony actually cared about Peter. And the quote “If you are nothing without the suit, then you shouldn’t have it” can be applied to real-life as well. It’s poetic and just soo deep.
15. “No amount of Money ever bought a second of Time.”
This one is remarkably deep. In Endgame when Tony had a reunion with his Father. He actually quotes his father, Future Howard Stark.
His father worked day and night to invent things for the U.S. govt. He was so rich that his son Tony would never have to really care about any Money.
But he never got a chance to connect with his son, or to have a bond with him. While Tony also said this as he never actually appreciated the work his father has done for him. Now he is a Billionaire but he can’t buy the time with his father.
16. “Everybody wants a happy ending, right?”
Every Marvel fan knows about this line. If Tony’s final scene wasn’t enough for one to sob, allow this letter to introduce himself. Yes, the final message from Tony stark which he recorded in case of his untimely death.
This is even a Metaphor to the audience as we all wanted a happy ending after watching that heartbreaking ending in Infinity War. But it doesn’t always roll that way. The ending was still happy though, but we lost our three original Avengers.

This one’s not from any Movie. But it’s from ‘Avengers: Endgame Special Look‘.
