War of the Realms is a comic book event that takes place in the Marvel Fresh start storyline. This event received positive reviews and is widely acclaimed among critics. Today, I’m gonna share the best reading order of the War of the Realms event. But before that, here’s little bit info about this event:
War of the Realms has it’s root back on the pages of Thor. Writer Jason Aron who began his work with Thor: God of Thunder in 2012 is now back with the War of the Realms.
This event is big, and by big, I mean extraordinarily big. We’ll see a team-up of heroes from the Avengers, Wolverine, the Fantastic Four.
We’ll also get a one-street level hero in this event: Daredevil. He now has the abilities of Heimdall. And he is now a ‘God Without Fear’ instead of ‘Man Without Fear’.
Anyways the general plot is this: Malekith, the King of the Dark Elves, is on a mission to conquer all the Ten Realms. He has already conquered nine realms. And Earth, aka Midgard, is the last one.
So War of the Realms is about Malekith and the Dark Elves, Fire Goblins, Frost Giants coming to Earth, and the heroes having to try to fight them off.
I’ve already shared a brief reading order for this in Fresh Start reading order guide. Where I talked about Marvel Fresh Start storyline. You can check that out as well. But in this article, I’m gonna explain from scratch.
