Tom Hiddleston’s LOKI series is coming to Disney Plus in Spring 2021. Earlier there were reports that we might see a Child version of Loki. These reports now seem to be true.
As recently we have two casting calls from Marvel Studios. These are both for British kids. One for Male and one for Female. Here we have a description for both of them. Male one definitely matches a Lot with Loki.
“Male, 10 years old, British, Open Ethnicity, smart and brave with a sharp wit and life experience beyond his years…RECURRING”
“Female, 10 years old, British, Caucasian, in tears over a frightening situation, she relies on her intelligence and resilience to find a way out.”
However, for the girl, it might be for the younger version of the character that Sophia Di Martino is playing. It’s confirmed that Sophia is in Loki’s cast. It’s been rumored that Sophia is going to play Female Loki or the Asgardian villainess the Enchantress. So the child actor will be for her child version.
Consequently, It’s been rumored that kid Loki will appear in the Disney Plus series. Then he will turn up in Thor: Love and Thunder. Which hints that we might no longer see Hiddleston Loki in MCU anymore. As suggested by previous reports.
Apparently, now these casting calls also teases out that way. However, we should remain positive and see how it turns out. Anyways, a child Loki would be really interesting to see. It just increases our excitement for the show.
